RadonFinder.ca is an independent online directory that lists radon testing and mitigation contractors across Canada. We do not perform radon services, employ contractors, or act as an agent or intermediary in any transaction between you and a contractor.

Contractor listings are sourced from publicly available certification data and voluntary submissions. While we make reasonable efforts to ensure that information is accurate and current, we do not guarantee:

• The accuracy, completeness, or currency of any listing
• That a listed contractor is currently accepting new clients
• That a contractor's certification is currently in good standing
• The quality, safety, or outcome of any services performed

You are responsible for independently verifying a contractor's credentials, licensing, and suitability before engaging their services.

The appearance of a contractor in our directory does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee by RadonFinder.ca. Featured Partners are clearly labelled as such. Sponsorship is a paid placement and reflects what a contractor paid for position, not an assessment of their work quality. The Verified badge indicates only that we confirmed the business controls its listing, not that we vouch for the work.

RadonFinder.ca is a directory. When you contact a contractor listed here, you do so directly, using the phone number, email address, or website shown on their listing. You understand that:

• The contractor is an independent third party with no affiliation to RadonFinder.ca
• We are not a party to any agreement between you and the contractor
• We are not responsible for the contractor's response time, pricing, conduct, or service quality
• Any dispute arising from work performed is solely between you and the contractor

If you are a contractor listed on RadonFinder.ca, you agree that:

• The information you provide (business name, certification number, services, location) is accurate and current
• You will promptly notify us of any changes to your certification status
• You will respond to homeowner enquiries in a professional and timely manner
• We may remove or suspend your listing at any time if we determine it is inaccurate, misleading, or violates these terms

Featured Partnership is a paid placement that positions your listing above standard results on a city page. The number of partners per city is capped, and placements are sold on a first-come basis.

RadonFinder.ca is operated by Setpoint Automation, and payments are processed by Stripe on its behalf. Setpoint Automation is the name shown at checkout and on your receipt. Your card statement will show RADONFINDER.CA.

• Featured Partnership is billed annually and renews automatically until you cancel
• Cancelling takes effect at the end of your current paid term. Your placement continues until that date
• We do not prorate or refund partial terms, because a cancelled placement cannot reliably be resold for the remainder
• Featured Partnership affects placement only. It does not influence the Verified badge, review content, or any quality signal shown on your listing
• We may decline or end a Featured Partnership if a certification lapses or a listing violates these terms. In that case we refund the unused portion

Except as described above, Featured Partnership fees are non-refundable unless required by applicable law.

Reviews submitted by homeowners are subject to approval before appearing publicly. By submitting a review, you confirm it reflects your genuine experience and does not contain false, defamatory, or misleading information. We reserve the right to remove any review at our discretion.

Our DIY Testing page contains affiliate links to Amazon.ca through the Amazon Associates Program. We earn a small commission on qualifying purchases at no additional cost to you. These relationships do not influence our recommendations or editorial content.

You may not use RadonFinder.ca to:

• Scrape, harvest, or systematically download directory data
• Submit false, fraudulent, or misleading listing claims or reviews
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Interfere with the operation of the site or its infrastructure
• Use the site for spam or unsolicited commercial communications

The RadonFinder.ca name, logo, and original website content are owned by us. Contractor business names, certification numbers, and publicly sourced data remain the property of their respective owners.

You may not reproduce, republish, or commercially exploit our content without prior written permission.

RadonFinder.ca is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RadonFinder.ca and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from:

• Your use of or inability to use the site
• Your reliance on any information in our directory
• The conduct, work quality, or actions of any contractor found through our site
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers or your personal information

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the site shall not exceed CAD $100.

We may update these terms at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
